On April 11, 2024, an orientation for new students of the Advanced Mechanical Engineering Course was held at the Toyosu Campus. In the first part of the morning, Dr. Tsunoda, Dean of the Mechanical Engineering Course, gave a course orientation for students in both the Core and Advanced Mechanical Engineering Courses, confirming each course's diploma policy and course content, introducing support tools for student life, and explaining the sub-course certification system. In the second part of the afternoon, orientation was divided into the Core Machinery and Advanced Machinery courses. In the Advanced Machinery course, students were first given an introduction to the Core Machinery course laboratories, followed by a tour of the Advanced Machinery course laboratories. The new students were divided into several groups and led by graduate students on a tour of 10 laboratories in the Advanced Machinery Course. At each laboratory, the graduate students and faculty members explained their research themes and other topics to the students, who listened attentively to the explanations.
