What is the Information and Communications Engineering Course?

In this course, students systematically learn the fundamental technologies of information and communication from both hardware and software aspects. Students study a wide range of subjects including computer science, circuits, signal processing, optical and wireless communications, networks, AI, and human interaction. In the experiment and practice courses, students learn the fundamentals of network programming, optical communication circuit fabrication, and communication experiments, while gaining hands-on experience with actual products.

Field-Specific Course Groups (sub-courses)

Information Networks

Students will learn practical network theory, cell phone communication methods, security technology, software technology, artificial intelligence, and the engineering treatment of human vision and hearing.

Information and Communication Systems

Students will learn device technologies related to optical, wireless, acoustics, etc., which support information and communication systems in terms of hardware.
